Genesis Clinical Laboratory understands one of the most important roles in the laboratory is that of our couriers.  Each day a courier delivers reports and supplies, but most important, touches every patient specimen and ensures that sample integrity and stability is never compromised which can lead to unnecessary redraws and delayed results.

On June, 2010, Genesis Clinical Laboratory announced a new partnership with Medspeed, a transportation company specializing in laboratory specimen tracking and delivery. Medspeed’s couriers undergo extensive training in customer service, sample requirements, and troubleshooting concepts. At Genesis, we believe our couriers represent our dedication to exceptional customer service and patient care.

Each laboratory sample is bar-coded at a client location and tracked through our specimen transport system and maintained through the arrival, testing, resulting, and storage process expediting test add-ons, testing repeats, and sample retrieval. As a patient safety driven company, Genesis Clinical Laboratory is committed to maintaining an error-free testing facility and bar-coding of samples is a key component of our mission.
