Randall K McGivneyDr. Randall K McGivney DO MBA is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. Dr. McGivney did a transitional internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso Texas where he also completed his Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency. McGivney is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from the American Board of Pathology and received his Masters of Business Administration from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. Prior to his position as Chair of the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Sciences for MacNeal and Weiss Hospitals and Medical Director of Genesis Clinical Laboratory, Dr. McGivney was the Chief of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and served at Medical Arts Laboratory in Oklahoma City. Dr. McGivney has a broad scope of expertise and clinical interests including Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary Pathology and Gynecologic Pathology. He is the former president of the American College of Osteopathic Pathologists and is an adjunct professor of Pathology at Midwestern University. Dr. McGivney is active in the College of American Pathologists and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology where his current focus includes expansion of the molecular service lines at Genesis and implementation of more lean processes in both the anatomic and clinical laboratories.
