Dr. Susanne Schindler is a graduate of Ludwig-Maximilians University Medical School, Munich, Germany. Her postgraduate training included a doctoral thesis which she defended with "Magna cum laude" and an internship in Clinical Dermatology. After completing a five year residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and a fellowship in Cytopathology at Northwestern University, Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Schindler worked for two years as a junior Pathologist at the Johannes-Gutenberg University Hospital in Mainz, Germany. She joined the Pathology Staff at MacNeal Hospital in January 2003.

She is triple board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and in Cytopathology.
